Welcome to my website!

Thank you for visiting my website!

I am a Ph.D. student in political science at the University of North Texas. I received a BA from Dokkyo University and an MA from Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan. My main research interests lie at the intersection of international relations and comparative politics, such as how state formations and shifts in international structures affect the outbreak and resolution of interstate/civil conflicts and the evolution of interstate rivalry.

If you are interested in working papers or datasets, please feel free to contact me:

The current research topics include:

  • the origins of territorial disputes
  • regional power distribution and the settlement of interstate disputes
  • international factors of civil wars
  • government types and diversionary disputes
